analytica 2012: Off to a successful start
Several key players already registered
"Positive registration statistics with stable numbers compared to the 2010 fair indicate that next year's fair will be a complete success," explains Exhibition Director Susanne Grödl. "Once again we expect all leading German and international manufacturers of laboratory and analysis equipment to participate in analytica 2012. That way, visitors from all branches of industry can gather information about all of the latest product innovations along the entire value chain."
Among other things, companies such as Carl Zeiss Jena, Shimadzu, Agilent and Waters will give visitors a comprehensive overview of new products in the sectors for analysis and quality control. Companies including Olympus, Nikon and Thermo Fisher Scientific will have innovations from the laboratory-technology sector on display. The biotechnology, life sciences and diagnostics sectors will also be strongly represented with companies such as Bio-Rad, GE Healthcare and Greiner Bio-One. An initial overview of all the exhibitors that have registered to date is available online.
Transfer of know-how and exchange of practical information
Besides presentations of the exhibitors' latest products and innovations, once again the 2012 fair will also feature the renowned analytica Conference. The conference's scientific dialog is being organized by "Forum Analytik", which is made up of Germany's three leading scientific associations, i.e. the German Chemical Society (GDCh), the Association for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (GBM) and the German Association for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (DGKL). In addition, an extensive program of related events will ensure a practice-oriented exchange of information. Planned events include Finance Day, analytica Job Day and other exciting highlights and presentations in the analytica Forums.
