Symyx Appoints New President of High Productivity Research
Symyx Technologies, Inc. has announced the appointment of John Senaldi as senior vice president of Symyx and president of its High Productivity Research (HPR) business unit. Symyx HPR delivers microscale, parallel experimentation tools, along with supporting services and software, to the life sciences, chemicals and energy, and consumer and industrial products industries.
Mr. Senaldi served most recently as division manager of the Protein Function Division within Bio-Rad Laboratories. Prior to Bio-Rad, he held a number of successful roles in general management, marketing, and business development at Molecular Devices Corporation and Becton Dickinson and Co. In addition, his experience includes roles in engineering and manufacturing management with General Electric Co. and several small companies.
Mr. Senaldi holds an MSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
