Andor builds upon its strong position in Japan

Andor Technology plc reported the strengthening of their position in Japan. Andor began its Japanese operations in August 2000 by opening an office in Tokyo. Since then the company has grown from strength to strength in the region, where a strong team of expert staff has developed a customer list made up of almost every leading research institute and university, according to the company.

With the opening of a new office last year in Osaka, Japan’s second largest city, Andor has consolidated its position as a supplier with sales in the country increasing by 22.5% for the financial year ending 30 September 2008.

Andor Sales Director, Dr. Aislinn Rice, said “Our continuous focus on quality for our wide range of high performance cameras and confocal systems has been the main reason of our growing success in Japan. We are proud of the trust in our skills and capabilities shown by our Japanese customers.”
