TOPTICA Photonics SE
100 mW at 405 nm for exceptionally strong Raman signals
Narrow linewidth single-frequency emission for highest spectral resolution
As easy to integrate as a HeNe laser at 405 nm for OEM systems
High coherence and wavelength stability for reproducible Raman analysis in OEM systems
TopMode lasers from TOPTICA are as easy to operate as classical HeNe lasers while delivering significantly higher output power at 405 nm. The TopMode 405 sets benchmarks in optical performance, coherence, and wavelength stability. The proprietary regulation method CHARM ensures continuous single-frequency operation, enabling reliable 24/7 performance in demanding environments.
The TopMode 405 is ideal for applications requiring a powerful, highly coherent single-frequency beam. Raman spectroscopy of inorganic materials, holography, interferometry, and holographic data storage all benefit from its high output power and excellent wavelength stability. The visible 405 nm wavelength is compatible with silicon detectors, simplifying alignment and system integration in both laboratory and industrial settings.
With up to 100 mW output power at 405 nm and a long coherence length, the TopMode 405 offers an exceptional combination of performance and beam quality. In this compact form factor, it is the only single-frequency laser on the market delivering up to 100 mW at 405 nm.
The grating-stabilized diode laser architecture is enhanced by the active coherence control system CHARM. The external cavity design provides long coherence length, while CHARM continuously monitors the laser and actively maintains stable single-frequency operation. This ensures consistent emission on a single frequency even during extended operating periods.
The compact, passively air-cooled laser head operates completely noise-free and vibration-free, making it particularly suitable for sensitive measurement setups and precision optical systems.
Designed from the outset for OEM integration, the compact and passively cooled laser head can be easily incorporated into existing optical systems. Control is conveniently implemented via ASCII commands directly from the user’s own software, simplifying integration and reducing development time.
