Rheometers as a Material Characterization Platform for Quality Control and R&D
Anton Paar Germany GmbH
Reliable results even for the fastest and most sensitive material responses
Saves time in the lab with fast measurements, short start-up times and easy operation
A flexible platform for a wide range of materials and measurement tasks
Precise, fast and intelligent – maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications
The Modular Compact Rheometers of the MCR series form a powerful platform for comprehensive material characterization. They enable users to reliably capture even complex material responses and to make well-founded decisions based on highly reproducible measurement results. Even when dealing with very fast, weak or sensitive material reactions, the MCR series delivers stable, meaningful data and reveals processes that remain hidden when using conventional measurement systems.
Short start-up times and fast measurement workflows significantly increase efficiency in the laboratory. Measurements can be performed without lengthy preparation phases, helping to shorten development cycles and increase sample throughput. The ability to quickly change measurement geometries and accessories supports flexible workflows and minimizes downtime in daily laboratory operations, allowing laboratories to respond rapidly to changing requirements.
Intelligent automation functions further reduce manual effort and simplify routine tasks. Operation is intuitive, either directly at the instrument or via the RheoCompass software, which guides users step by step through the entire measurement process and reliably supports standardized procedures. This reduces the risk of handling errors and ensures consistent results, enabling users to focus their time and expertise on data evaluation and interpretation rather than on instrument setup.
Thanks to its modular platform concept, the MCR series can be used for a wide variety of materials and physical measurement tasks. In addition to classical rheological measurements, the system supports dynamic mechanical analysis, tribological investigations, powder characterization and combined measurements with optical or spectroscopic techniques. This versatility allows users to address diverse analytical questions using a single instrument platform.
Whether for routine measurements or advanced investigations of new material systems, the MCR series represents a future-proof solution that combines precision, speed, ease of use and versatility in one integrated platform.
