Simple and fast device integration into automation systems ✓ Increased throughput with up to four real-time thermal cyclers in a liquid handling system ✓ Device security and automation extends walkaway times ✓ more
Optimized design for automation and a lifting system for easy removal of the PCR plates
Intuitive control through user-friendly software with option for integration into automation software
High performance & excellent temperature homogeneity in 96- and 384-well format
Leading PCR expertise for the automated workflow
As an integrated part of a high-throughput PCR workflow, the Biometra TRobot II automated thermal cycler offers reliable, unattended 24-hour operation, highest quality results and faster analysis speed for routine PCR or incubation applications.
Besides the typical main application, PCR, the Biometra TRobot II is also suitable for all other molecular biological or chemical incubations in PCR plates. For example, the creation of libraries for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) is an important step in a more extensive workflow in which the automated thermal cycler can be used. The PCR cycler has excellent heating and cooling rates and outstanding temperature homogeneity across the sample block for highly reproducible PCR results.
To create new protocols or to transfer existing protocols from other thermal cyclers it is sometimes necessary to make slight optimizations to the protocols. For this purpose, the Biometra TRobot II features a gradient function.
