Position the edge of the vessel opening in the groove located on the inner surface of the lid.

Now hold the silicone lid onto the outer edge with one hand and pull the rest of the lid with the other hand over the entire opening.

To ensure that the silicone lid fits correctly, it must be tightly seated on the vessel.

Thanks to their excellent elasticity, the DURAN® silicone lid can be used to cover different vessel diameters and shapes. The wide overlapping edge of the lid closes fits over the vessel top. This is advantageous, for example, during stirring processes, as leakage or splashing of the reaction medium is avoided. The integrated pull straps are convenient and can be used with and without gloves.

The DURAN® silicone lids are easy to clean, reusable and thus an environmentally friendly alternative to single use sealing films. They are particularly tear-resistant, UV-resistant, water-repellent and also durable. In addition to the good material properties, DURAN® silicone lids are also visually eye-catching and bring plenty od fresh colours into the laboratory. Available in the colours cyan, pink and green and with the additional lettering field on the tab, they enable vessels to be visibly and clearly marked.
