EYELA - Flexible Benchtop-Synthesizer for organic and inorganic Synthesis

In addition to our fully automated range of parallel synthesis platforms, Zinsser Analytic now offers a manual, bench top parallel synthesiser range from Eyela.
The ProcessStation™ is a multi-reactor synthesiser that has been designed for easy operation in the screening and optimisation of chemical, polymerisation, condensation, crystallisation and catalytic reactions.
Individual temperature control
Comprised of five independently temperature controlled reaction stations (-10 – 150°C), each reactor in the range is also equipped with individual cold reflux (integral reflux bar or individual condensers) to recycle volatile reagents back to the reaction mixture, and a sealed reaction environment for inert gas experiments.
Various reactor vessels
The reactor size and number can be increased to 20 per system (4 per temperature zone) with the use of appropriate adaptors, to accommodate reactions from 0.5 – 60ml over the range.
Efficient mixing
Superlative mixing is achieved by variable speed magnetic stirring, which is extremely effective for emulsions, suspensions and other viscous materials.
Easy to run & to observe your reactions
A keypad allows any chemist to easily and quickly set individual parameters for each reaction, which can be viewed “real time” through the observation window of each reactor. The “real time” chemi-thermo monitoring of each reaction is also available with the use of additional hardware.
Working in inert atmosphere
Additional reagents can be added during the course of a reaction via silicon or natural rubber septa, which preserves the inert environment.
Numerous applications on one system
The range is extremely flexible. A large variety of reaction tubes are available (Dean Stark, Dimroth, Schlenck, pressurized reaction vessels) which, when combined with unique accessories, allow the running of numerous synthesis methodologies.
There is also a designated unit available solely for pressurised synthesis applications such as hydrogenations, carbonylations and polymerisations.
All glassware meets the international DIN standard so that you can use your standard labware (cooler, dropping funnel, etc) with the system.
Small in Size but great in performance
The Eyela range of parallel benchtop synthesisers occupies only a small footprint (47x31cm) and can fit easily into existing laboratory cabinets. This, in combination with their extreme flexibility, functionality and numerous safety features, make it a “must have” system for any development synthetic chemist in the materials, chemical or pharmaceutical chemistry laboratory.
