HILIC from A to Z - Now available with a new selectivity!

With new products the ZIC-series for the Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography offers now more solutions for sophisticated chromatographic separations. All products of this series are especially designed for the separation of polar and highly polar substances, which do not experience any or nearly any retention with standard methods. Zwitterionic compounds, covalently bonded to a chromatographic support, guarantee a chemically and chromatographically extremely stable product, which is not depending on the pH regarding the performance. Finally low salt concentrations in the eluent are sufficient to optimise a separation.

Besides the already established ZIC-HILIC material the new ZIC-HILIC SPEED (20 x 2.1 mm, 3.5 µm) allows its application in the high throughput area for ultra-fast separations of highly polar compounds. ZIC-HILIC is additionally available in a large variety of column dimensions (from Micro-HPLC to preparative LC) and particle sizes, which gives the possibility to always select the right dimension for an individual application. This also includes special high pressure hardware (stable up to 600 bars!) for the use of ZIC –HILIC with ultra-performance HPLC systems.

ZIC-HILIC can not only be used in the analytical and preparative column chromatography, but also is an excellent tool for the sample separation. Here different formats are available.Besides the classical SPE cartridges, Micro-SPE cartridges, the ZIC- tips, as well as 96-well plates can be selected.

Latest member of the ZIC-family is, in addition to ZIC-HILIC and ZIC-pHILIC, the new ZIC-cHILIC material. With an inverted assembly of the zwitterionic structure this product opens new application areas in the Hydrophilic Interaction Chromatography. Both ZIC-HILIC and ZIC-cHILIC act as complementary stationary phases for the separation of polar and highly polar compounds. Finally ZIC-pHILIC is designed for its application in more basic pH areas > pH 8. Altogether the ZIC-family offers a comprehensive program to solve difficult polar separation problems.
