A simple way to do Dust Analysis! An Increasing requirement in quality assurance for low-dust and dust-free products
|
Generally dust will form during the production process of granulates and powders or during the handling these materials. High Dust levels in solids can become a major problem for various reasons. Therefore the manufactures task is to produce less dusty or dust-free materials. The DustMon L provides a precise and informative analysis method to determine dust levels. Within 30 seconds the DustMon L will detect and quantify the dust within a sample.
This unique measurement system, which combines two methods (white light + laser light) offers the possibility to analyse high dust level products as well as low dust level products.
The robust design guarantees a long life with very reliable and reproducible results. Moreover – the DustMon L analysis-software is easy to understand and use. The results are presented graphically and in table form, so that all the information is shown at a glance. All resultant data is filed in Excel-format and can be transferred into a LIM-system.
The DustMon L is used in laboratories for quality control and R&D. Also within the production environment the DustMon L has applications for production control and production supervision.
Facts at a glance:
- robust + compact construction
- high repeatability + precise results
- easy to use
- easy to clean
- fast results (typically 30 s; via software selectable – up to 600 s)
- graphic presentation of sedimentation process
- white-light or laser-light analysis - method selectable
- overlays of results (up to 10 results)
- data exportable into an external data base
- inexpensive measurement system
