Fully UV-transparent plastic cuvette for highest requirements in the spectrophotometrical analyses UVette®: optimally for sensitive samples and small volumes

Providing a cost-effective and reliable alternative for quartz cuvettes, the Eppendorf UVette®* is a single-use, fully UV-transparent plastic cuvette for all common spectrophotometrical analyses in the UV and visible range (220 nm to 1,600 nm) with a sample volume as small as = 50 µl. Eppendorf offers two different qualities: Individually packaged UVettes, certified RNase-free, DNA- and protein-free, for the recovery of delicate samples, and the UVette routine pack, the economical, easy handling alternative for everyday applications in the approved Eppendorf quality. With two different optical path lengths, the UVette is designed for easy handling: Not only 10 mm, but also 2 mm path lengths can be used after rotating the UVette by 90°. Therefore, error-prone dilutions can be avoided. The UVette is optimized for use with the Eppendorf BioPhotometer, however, with the help of an adapter it can be used in nearly every spectrophotometer. * US Patent 6249345
