Cellavista - "Your all in one solution for cells in wells"

Innovatis AG introduces Cellavista; a highly innovative, fast and flexible image based platform technology for precise and reliable cell growth quantification in well plate formats. With its combined bright field and fluorescence capabilities Cellavista opens the door for quantitative analysis of a broad range of cellular applications. Cellavista is designed to improve efficiency and standardize cellular assays, e.g. in cell line development, cellular research or drug discovery. The fast image acquisition module is capable to scan the total area of 15 well plates in less than one hour. Together with the new laser based auto focus system of unmet precision and reliability this guarantees high throughput with high content quality.

For most convenient use Cellavista takes care of all steps required for image based analysis. Image acquisition, image analysis and data interpretation are fully automated.

The powerful and easy to learn graphical user interface allows the user to set up experiments quickly. The results can be interpreted conveniently by choosing the most descriptive presentation for the assay at hand. The instruments’ library offers whole plate overviews, image time series, histograms, scatter plots, heat maps or time charts.

Cellavista comes with a high degree of flexibility to cope with a vast number of different applications, The system is designed to take away the complexity of image acquisition, data generation and result visualisation.
Cellavista can be equipped with brightfield illumination and up to 6 additional fluorescent channels modularly. The magnification can be chosen by using up to 5 different objectives from 2-fold up to 40-fold magnification.

Different types of illumination combined with a broad magnification range enables the user to generate both, overviews of the whole cultivation area to get precise information about cell population statistics and sub-cellular details, e.g. for functional studies.

Everything stated above can be achieved using standard disposable or reusable culture systems in 384, 96, 48, 24, 12 and 6 well micro plate, microscope slide, chambered slides, small culture dish or T-flask format.

Whatever culture system you choose, Cellavista gives full control over number and position of acquired images and objects to be analysed (e.g. cell colonies, individual cells, cell nuclei). The unique image recognition architecture makes it easy to integrate new algorithms and parameters as well as adapting existing ones.

Being well aware of the growing need for automation within the pharmaceutical industry, the Cellavista is designed to fit the resulting requirements. Hook up to automated plate incubators, clone picking stations, or plate handling systems is easy.
