Genomatix appoints Distributor for the growing Chinese Market

14 Sep 2006 - Genomatix Software GmbH announced that it will sell its products to the Chinese market through Beijing ZGZ Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. (ZGZ). Founded in 1998 by the China Biomedicine & Biochemical Academy (China BIB), which provided services exclusively to the Chinese government, ZGZ has become an independent entity last year.
 
ZGZ is focusing on the research and development in biomedicine, new drug resources, biology information and biometrics research. Based on its experience and technological background, ZGZ is active in the international biochip-related field, and will contribute to the China biochip and bioscience community by connecting the western world with China.
 
"With more than 1.800 researchers in China being subscribed to our free services today, this represents a very important growth market for us", says Klaus May, Chief Business Officer of Genomatix.
