Analytik Jena subsidiary takes over turnkey construction of an additional medical centre in Russia

14 Jun 2005 - AJZ Engineering GmbH, a subsidiary of Analytik Jena AG announced the conclusion of a contract for the construction of a transplant and dialysis centre in Wolski coincided with the visit of Dieter Althaus, president of the state Thuringia, to Russia.
 
The venture was put out to tender worldwide as part of the program to improve healthcare services initiated by the Russian Federation Ministry of Health. Once again, the Jena company succeeded in demonstrating its project management expertise among a large number of competitors. For the main contractor, AJZ Engineering GmbH, the order is worth over EUR 90 million. The centre, located on the river Volga, will have over 250 beds and is due to be completed by the end of 2008.
