Analytik Jena increases sales revenues and income in the first quarter

27 Feb 2004 - As expected, the first quarter of the new financial year 2003/2004 (as per December 31, 2003) has concluded very positively. It was characterized by a high degree of implementation in the business unit project solutions and a noticeable improvement in the situation concerning orders in the instrument business. Here, the Group increased its sales by 49.6 % to EUR 33.419 m (previous year: EUR 22.342 m) in the first quarter of the financial year. In Germany, the Group generated total sales of EUR 17.767 m (previous year: EUR 14.184 m). International business activities contributed a total of EUR 15.652 m to Group sales in the first three months of the new financial year (previous year: EUR 8.158 m). In comparison to the previous year, the export ratio increased from 36.5 % to 46.8 %.
