Description:
The first expo in 2006 was organized under the three headings of Chemicals, Laboratory and Technology. Due to the success of this initial organization, the industry was quite excited about the second expo. Another development was the addition of the TURKOCAT 2007 Paint Ingredients and Production Technologies Exhibition, which improved the participant and visitor profile of ARTKIM even further. The company organized the second meeting of the chemical and paint industry on 31 October 3 November 2007 at the Istanbul Exhibition Center. This exhibition covered three halls offering 25,000 m2 space. The event was received very positively:
128% increase in number of participants (313) 52% increase in number of visitors (21,529 visitors from 41 countries)
Turkchem 2007 and Turkcoat 2007 contribute to the growth of the chemical industry by bringing together leading local and foreign companies in all segments of the industry. Doubling its size in its second year, the expo has become an important brand that serves as the meeting point of the industry. Turkchem 2007 and Turkcoat 2007 were mainly attended by the following segments of the chemical industry: raw materials, auxiliary materials, manufacture and import of special chemicals, laboratory equipment, machinery and equipment, packaging, measurement control, treatment, automation, logistics, occupational safety, etc. The expositions attracted considerable attention from manufacturing companies, signaling that they will quickly turn into international/regional events. With rapid growth in consumption, production and foreign trade, the chemical industry has been one of the fastest-growing industries of Turkey in recent years. The Turkish chemical industry accounts for 1.7% of global import and 1% of global trade, with USD 6.6 billion exports, USD 39.5 billion imports, and USD 46 billion trade volume. This is why Turkchem and Turkcoat are indispensable platforms for the Turkish chemical industry. |
