FILTECH 2009 - the premier event for filtration and separation technology featuring a scientific conference and major exhibition will be held again in WIESBADEN, GERMANY, from OCTOBER 13 to 15, 2009. Frankfurt International Airport is only 20 minutes from Wiesbaden and guarantees excellent travel conditions for attendees from abroad.
FILTECH is a cross-sectional event which reflects the full range of possibilities for solutions of separation problems both in theory and in practice, and the formula of providing to an international audience a platform for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and experience in filtration and separation technology has proved very successful over the years.
At the INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION innovative companies and market leaders from the world-wide filtration and separation industry and manufacturers of particle measurement instruments will feature the latest innovations and most modern technology available. The exhibition is open to registered trade visitors and conference delegates.
Directed to an international audience the CONFERENCE will feature fundamentals, equipment and strategies to “Solid-Liquid-Separation“ by filtration and sedimentation as well as “Air and Gas Cleaning“ by filtration, settling, electrostatic precipitation, scrubbing and "Membrane Separation Technology". It will provide a representative survey of current research findings and state-of-the-art developments for the solution of separation problems in a wide range of sectors, right around the globe. It will spann the processing of mineral resources through biotechnology and chemistry to environmental engineering and water purification. In addition to descriptions of numerous advances in modelling and the technical design of classical separation processes, reports will be presented on a string of new developments.
