ZEUS - blended learning

Ingenious combination of classroom teaching and e-learning

by Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG

Almost every business process now integrates electronic media. No wonder: they make processes easier to manage and optimize. That includes processes relating to occupational safety and health (OSH), too.

Infraserv Höchst is helping to leverage these opportunities with its ZEUS training system. ZEUS ingeniously combines computer-based e-learning with classroom training in around 90 tutorials on all key OSH topics.

Compelling benefits of e-learning
It can reach employees more easily. It enjoys wider acceptance since people can learn at their own pace. And it is less time-consuming and thus more efficient. ZEUS supports the planning and documentation of e-learning and classroom teaching so managers can instantly see what courses employees have completed.

What about quality and compliance?
The ZEUS system complies with the e-training guideline issued by the German Institution for Statutory Accident Insurance and Prevention (BGR A1) and the related standards issued by the Interstate High Joint Committee of Labor Inspection Services (LASI).

The e-learning system can be hosted by Infraserv Höchst or the customer. It can also be adapted to comply with the customer's corporate design guidelines.

Benefits of the ZEUS system:

  • Legally compliant documentation of operator obligations
  • 50% to 70% reduction in costs compared to conventional safety-training programs
  • Infraserv Höchst uses ZEUS itself. You benefit from the infrastructure operator's own experience with ZEUS.
  • Over 20,000 of our customers' employees use our training modules.
  • Experts stay abreast of the latest legal developments and ensure the e-learning modules remain up-to-date.
  • Test questions verify users' understanding of the material and ensures long-term retention of key information.
  • All data-protection requirements are met by the professional documentation and analysis of the training courses.

Our approach:
Once we determine which regulations apply to your organization, we identify your unique training requirements and the matching ZEUS modules. If you wish, we can draw up a departmental training plan for classroom seminars and e-learning modules, teach and evaluate the courses, and then issue certificates of completion for the participants.
