The new MILESTONE UltraWAVE

The UltraWAVE with its SRC (Single Reaction Chamber) patented technology* changes the traditional work flow of microwave digestion by removing the limitations of closed-vessel systems.

The UltraWAVE is a fully automated, compact benchtop package, making sample preparation more efficient than ever before.

Instead of using an individual, closed reaction vessel for each sample, the UltraWAVE features a large, pressurized reaction chamber - the SRC. All samples are placed simultaneously in the SRC for microwave digestion under high temperature and pressure conditions. Identical digestion conditions are used for all samples: this allows any combination of sample types to be digested in the same run, using standard glass autosampler vials.

No method development is needed (same method can be used for almost every sample type) and no need to use different rotors for different sample types. And for the first time, reference standards (any matrix) can be digested alongside samples, enabling true in-run digestion quality control.

Labor costs are significantly lower because no vessel assembly/disassembly is required and vessel cleaning is eliminated with disposable glass vials.
