Sartorius and TEWS Elektronik sign an exclusive sales and marketing agreement

08-06-2010: Sartorius has signed an agreement on exclusive sales as well as on marketing and servicing of microwave resonance analyzers for the food and pharma industries with the measuring equipment supplier TEWS Elektronik.

"For Sartorius, this agreement with TEWS Elektronik, a significant company in microwave resonance technology, represents an important extension of our portfolio for our Process Analytics business unit. The products are a perfect fit with our strategic alignment, aiming to leverage innovative solutions for process-critical parameters that we can offer our customers in the food and pharmaceutical industries," stated Reinhard Vogt, Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Service at Sartorius.

The Hamburg measuring technology specialist TEWS Elektronik will benefit from the global sales and marketing structures and established business relationships that the technology group Sartorius has to offer. "This alliance with Sartorius gives us access to an organization that is able to offer its customers comprehensive applications support alongside a global sales, marketing and service network," said Andre Tews in commenting on the agreement. "We anticipate enhanced market penetration of food and pharma industry sectors relying on quality-critical processes."
