VAPODEST steam distillation systems
C. Gerhardt has set new standards with VAPODEST rapid distillation systems, which are used worldwide for Kjeldahl analysis of feed and food samples and environmental analysis. VAPODEST is available with various levels of automation: From semi-automatic VAPODEST 10s, 20s, 30s, 45s, 50s  to fully automated distillation and titration system VAPODEST 50s carousel with sample feeder for up to 20 samples. Model VAPODEST 50s and VAPODEST 50s carousel are operated via PC using the control software VAPODEST Manager. This software offers extensive documentation as well as monitoring functions to meet the demanding requirements of certified laboratories.

KJELDATHERM and TURBOTHERM digestion units
The versatile range of digestors offered by C. Gerhardt includes KJELDATHERM block systems for Kjeldahl digestions in 100 ml, 250 ml or 400 ml tubes and TURBOTHERM infrared systems for rapid digestions in 100 ml, 250 ml, 400 ml or 800 ml tubes.

HYDROTHERM automatic acid hydrolysis system
The first system in the world to fully automate the labour-intensive steps of acid hydrolysis prior to soxhlet extraction including addition of hydrochloric acid – hydrolysis – dilution – rinsing – filtration – cleaning. An easy walk-away system, saving time and money in the busy modern laboratory.

SOXTHERM rapid soxhlet fat extraction systems
SOXTHERM rapid soxhlet extractors are used successfully in food, feed and environmental laboratories all over the world. The fully automated extraction process can be controlled by the powerful software SOXTHERM Manager ensuring highest precision and safety with lowest effort.

DUMATHERM nitrogen analyser
Nitrogen/Protein determination of solid and liquid samples according to the combustion method Dumas. For the majority of sample matrices, the Dumas method is a fast and reliable alternative to the classical Kjeldahl digestion method. DUMATHERM is a state-of-the-art analysis system and available with manual sample feeder or autosampler for 40, 80 or 120 samples. All functions and analysis steps are controlled by the powerful software DUMATHERM Manager ensuring a reliable, cost efficient and fast analysis with a minimum of effort.

FibreBag systems for determination of crude fibre, ADF and NDF
The FibreBag method developed by C. Gerhardt revolutionized the classical determination acc. to Weender, van Soest and others. The unique, highly precise filtration material of the FibreBags ensures optimal results. FIBRTHERM offers fully automated processing of the tedious boiling and filtration steps for crude fiber, ADF and NDF determinations. Manual FibreBag systems are an economic option for laboratories with lower sample throughput.

LABOSHAKE shakers and THERMO heaters
C. Gerhardt offers large shaker models like LABOSHAKE with orbital or reciprocal motion, the  incubator shaker THERMOSHAKE and the elution shaker ROTOSHAKE.
The THERMO program includes traditional instruments for digestion, distillation, hydrolysis, extraction, single and serial heaters for flasks and beakers.
